The Cursed Mirror

I was alone at night in an old mansion. The hallway was dark and the sound of the wind came through the window. In a quiet corner of the room, there was a large old mirror. The mirror had a black frame and was cracked. I remembered someone saying to me, “Don't look in this mirror." But for some reason, my eyes were drawn to the mirror. As I approached the mirror, I felt a chill down my back. I saw my own face reflected in it. But that face was not moving. It was staring at me. Suddenly, the “me” in the mirror smiled. At that moment, a hand appeared from the other side of the mirror. The hand was cold and bone-like. It grabbed my arm. "Help," I screamed, but no voice came out. In the darkness, I saw myself in the mirror trying to pull me in. I realized that my body was inside the mirror. When I looked out of the mirror, it was not “me” standing there. Something inside the mirror was standing in the outside world in my image. That “self” said in a low voice: “There's no going back." Inside the house, only a cold silence remained.
