歯医者で
At the Dentist
田中さんは歯が痛くなり、近くの歯医者に行くことにしました。歯医者のドアを開けると、受付に女性が座っています。「こんにちは。予約はしていますか？」受付の女性が笑顔で聞きました。「いいえ、していません。でも、歯がとても痛いんです。」田中さんは心配そうに答えました。「わかりました。少しお待ちください。先生に聞いてみますね。」数分後、受付の女性が戻ってきました。「先生がすぐ見てくれます。どうぞ、こちらへ。」田中さんは診察室に入ります。中では歯医者の先生が白いコートを着て立っています。「こんにちは。どの歯が痛いですか？」先生が優しく聞きました。「奥の右の歯です。昨日から痛くて、食べるのも大変です。」田中さんは頬を押さえながら言いました。先生は田中さんの口を見ながら言いました。「虫歯ですね。少し治療が必要です。大丈夫ですか？」「はい、お願いします。でも、痛くないですか？」田中さんは少し不安そうに聞きました。「大丈夫ですよ。痛み止めを使いますから、安心してください。」治療が終わると、先生は笑顔で言いました。「これで痛みはなくなると思います。今日はあまり硬いものを食べないようにしてくださいね。」「わかりました。ありがとうございました。」田中さんはお辞儀をして診察室を出ました。歯医者を出ると、田中さんはほっとした表情を浮かべました。「次は早めに来よう。」そう思いながら、家に帰りました。
Mr. Tanaka has a toothache and decides to go to a nearby dentist. When he opens the dentist's door, he sees a woman sitting at the reception desk. She says, “Hello." "Do you have an appointment?” The receptionist asked with a smile. "No, I do not." "But my tooth hurts a lot." Mr. Tanaka replied anxiously. I understand. Please wait a moment. I'll ask the doctor. A few minutes later, the receptionist returned. "The doctor will see you soon." "Please come this way." Mr. Tanaka enters the examination room. Inside, the dentist is standing there in a white coat. He says, “Good afternoon." "Which tooth hurts?" The doctor asked gently. "It's the tooth in the back on the right." "It's been hurting since yesterday, and it's hard for me to eat." Mr. Tanaka said while holding his cheek. The doctor looked at Mr. Tanaka's mouth and said: “It's a cavity." "It needs some treatment." "Are you okay with that?" "Yes, please." "But won't it hurt?" Mr. Tanaka asked a little anxiously. "It's all right." "I'll use painkillers, so please don't worry." When the treatment was over, the doctor smiled and said: “I think this will make the pain go away." "Please try not to eat too much hard food today." "I understand." "Thank you very much.” Mr. Tanaka bowed and left the examination room. After leaving the dentist's office, Mr. Tanaka looked relieved. "I'll come back earlier next time.” With this thought in mind, he went home.
