薬局
The Pharmacy

The pharmacy door opened quietly, and upon entering, a faint smell of medicine wafted through the air. The store was brightly lit and shelves were lined with a variety of medicines. Behind the reception counter, a pharmacist in a white coat looked at Miss Tanaka with a smile. "Welcome." "How can I help you today?” The pharmacist asked in a gentle voice. "Hello." "I have a sore throat and I can't stop coughing." "I also think I have a slight fever,” Miss Tanaka replied in a slightly tired voice. The pharmacist nodded and looked toward the shelf. "I see." "That's rough, isn't it?" "I recommend some cough medicine and throat lozenges." "What's your fever?” "When I measured it this morning, it was about 38 degrees." Miss Tanaka said anxiously. "Thirty-eight degrees?" "Then please take this fever medicine with you." The pharmacist put a small box on the counter. "Let me explain how to take it." "This medication should be taken one tablet at a time, after meals." "Up to three times per day." "And be sure to drink plenty of water." "I understand." "Thank you very much." "Is there anything else I should be aware of?” Miss Tanaka asked, taking notes. The pharmacist thought for a moment, then said: “Take it easy and rest as much as you can." "And if your symptoms persist for more than three days, please go see a doctor." "Yes, I will." "Thank you so much for your help." Miss Tanaka bowed politely and put the medicine in her bag. As she left the pharmacy, a cold winter wind blew against her face. "Let's go home and get some rest." Miss Tanaka murmured and hurried home.
