The Doctor's Office
Upon opening the door to the examination room, there was a young doctor sitting at his desk. He looked up and smiled serenely. "How can I help you?" The doctor asked. Mr. Tanaka looked a little nervous as he answered. "My head has been aching since yesterday, and I have a fever.” The doctor nodded and took the notes in his hand. "Do you have any other symptoms?" "I also have a slight sore throat. But I don't have much of a cough." "Okay.” The doctor got up from his chair and picked up a thermometer. "Then let's take your temperature." "Then let me see your throat." Mr. Tanaka took the thermometer and put it under his arm. A few moments later, a beep sounded. "It's 37.8 degrees Celsius." "You have a slight fever.” The doctor nodded and continued his examination. "Your throat is also red and swollen." "I think it's probably just a mild cold, but I'll give you some medicine to take and see what happens." Mr. Tanaka smiled reassuringly. "Thank you very much." "I'll take care." "Take care.” The doctor said gently and began to write the prescription. After leaving the examination room, Mr. Tanaka left the hospital feeling a little lighter.
