Ordering Ramen
太郎はラーメン屋の暖簾をくぐった。
Taro passed through the curtain of the ramen shop.
店内は狭いが、どこか落ち着く雰囲気だ。
The interior of the store is small, but the atmosphere is somewhat relaxing.
カウンター席に座ると、店主が笑顔で声をかけてきた。
When he sat down at the counter, the owner smiled and said to him: "Welcome."
「いらっしゃいませ。
"What would you like?"
何にしますか？」
Taro looked at the menu and thought for a while.
太郎はメニューを見ながら少し考えた。
"I'll have the soy sauce ramen, please."
「えっと、しょうゆラーメンをください。」
The owner nodded and replied: "The soy sauce ramen, yes."
店主はうなずきながら答える。
"What else do you have?"
「しょうゆラーメンですね。
"Can I have some extra chashu pork?"
他に何かありますか？」
"Of course."
「うーん、チャーシューを追加できますか？」
"One soy sauce ramen with chashu topping?"
「もちろんです。
"Yes, please."
チャーシュートッピングで、しょうゆラーメン一つですね。」
The owner went to the kitchen and began to make the ramen.
「はい、それでお願いします。」
After a while, a bowl of steaming hot ramen was placed in front of Taro.
店主は厨房に向かい、手際よくラーメンを作り始めた。
"Thank you for waiting."
しばらくすると、湯気を立てたどんぶりが目の前に置かれた。
"Shoyu ramen with chashu pork."
「お待たせしました。
"Thank you," said Taro, who picked up his chopsticks and took a bite.
しょうゆラーメン、チャーシュー追加です。」
"It's delicious," he told the owner, who smiled with satisfaction.
「ありがとうございます！」
"I'm glad to hear that."
太郎は箸を手に取り、一口すすると、あっという間に笑顔になった。
Taro finished his ramen and thanked the owner with satisfaction.
「おいしい！」
"Thank you for the food," he said, to which the owner replied, "Thank you very much."
店主も満足そうに微笑む。
"Please come again."
「それはよかったです。」
Taro was full and decided to come back another time.
太郎はラーメンを食べ終え、満足そうに店主に礼を言った。
「ごちそうさまでした！」
「ありがとうございました。
また来てくださいね。」
太郎は満腹になりながら、また来ようと心に決めた。
