The Restaurant
お客さんはレストランの入り口に歩いて行きました。
The customer walked to the entrance of the restaurant.
店員が笑顔で迎えました。
The waiter greeted him with a smile.
「いらっしゃいませ。
"Welcome."
お一人ですか？」
"Are you by yourself?"
「いいえ、二人です。」
"No, there are two of us."
お客さんは指で2を作りながら答えました。
The customer replied while making a two with his fingers.
「かしこまりました。
"Sure thing."
こちらへどうぞ。」
"Please come this way."
店員はテーブルまで案内しました。
The waiter led them to a table.
お客さんが椅子に座ると、店員がメニューを渡しました。
The customer sat down and the waiter handed him a menu.
「こちらがメニューです。
"Here is the menu."
おすすめは季節限定の天ぷら定食です。」
"I recommend the seasonal tempura set meal."
「ありがとうございます。
"Thank you very much."
少し考えます。」
"I will think about it."
お客さんはメニューを見ながら答えました。
The customer replied while looking at the menu.
数分後、店員が戻ってきました。
A few minutes later, the waiter returned.
「ご注文はお決まりですか？」
"Are you ready to order?"
「はい、天ぷら定食を一つと、焼き魚定食を一つお願いします。
"Yes, I would like one tempura set meal and one grilled fish set meal."
それと、お茶を二つください。」
"And two cups of tea, please."
「かしこまりました。
"Yes, sir."
少々お待ちください。」
"Please wait a moment."
店員は注文を確認し、キッチンへ向かいました。
The waiter confirmed the order and went to the kitchen.
しばらくして、料理が運ばれてきました。
After a while, the food arrived.
「お待たせしました。
"Thank you for waiting."
天ぷら定食と焼き魚定食です。
"Here are the tempura set meal and the grilled fish set meal."
お茶もどうぞ。」
"Please also have some tea."
店員はテーブルに料理を並べました。
The waiter placed the dishes on the table.
お客さんは料理を見てうれしそうに言いました。
The customer looked at the dishes and said happily: "It looks delicious!"
「美味しそう！
"Thank you."
いただきます。」
After finishing his meal, the customer called the waiter.
食事が終わった後、お客さんは店員を呼びました。
"Excuse me, can I have the bill, please?"
「すみません、お会計をお願いします。」
"Sure thing."
「かしこまりました。
"The bill is 2,500 yen."
お会計は2500円です。」
The waiter brought the bill.
店員は伝票を持ってきました。
The customer took out his wallet and handed over 3,000 yen.
お客さんは財布を取り出し、3000円を渡しました。
"The change is 500 yen."
「お釣りは500円です。
"Thank you very much."
ありがとうございました。
"Please come again."
またお越しください。」
The waiter bowed.
店員はお辞儀をしました。
The customer replied with a smile.
お客さんは笑顔で答えました。
"Thank you for the food."
「ごちそうさまでした。
"It was very tasty."
とても美味しかったです。
"I will come again!"
また来ます！」
