Trapped Inside
暗い部屋の中、私は目を覚ました。
I woke up in a dark room.
壁には古い木の板が打ち付けられ、外の光は一切入らない。
The walls are lashed with old wooden planks, and no light comes in from outside.
何かが遠くで低くうなる音が聞こえる。
I hear something humming low in the distance.
部屋の中には、誰かが使った形跡のある古い机と椅子があるだけだ。
There is only an old desk and chair in the room, with signs that someone has used them.
扉を開けようとしたが、全く動かない。
I tried to open the door, but it wouldn't budge at all.
「ここから出たい」と心の中で叫んだ。
"I want to get out of here," I shouted in my mind.
突然、後ろで何かが動く音がした。
Suddenly, I heard something move behind me.
振り返ると、そこには誰もいない。
When I turned around, there was no one there.
しかし、床には新しい足跡が濡れたように残っていた。
But there were fresh wet footprints on the floor.
私は震えながら後ずさりした。
I backed away, shivering.
その時、壁の向こうから低い声で「助けて」と囁くような声が聞こえた。
At that moment, I heard a low voice whisper from behind the wall, "Help me."
「誰がいるの？」
"Who's there?"
と叫ぶが、答えはない。
I shouted, but there was no answer.
ただ、その声はゆっくりと近づいてきた。
But the voice was slowly approaching.
そして、何かが扉の向こうを爪で引っかく音が聞こえる。
Then I heard something clawing at the other side of the door.
「出たい、出たい」と声にならない声を上げ、必死で扉を叩いた。
"I want to get out, I want to get out," he said in an inarticulate voice, banging frantically on the door.
だが、その音に気づいたのか、扉の向こうから重い足音が近づいてきた。
But then, perhaps noticing the sound, heavy footsteps approached from behind the door.
最後に聞こえたのは、扉を押し開けるような激しい音と…部屋の中に響く誰かの冷たい笑い声だった。
The last thing he heard was a violent sound like a door being pushed open... and someone's cold laughter echoing through the room.
