電気屋の明るい店内には、色とりどりの商品が並んでいた。
The brightly lit interior of the electronics store was filled with a colorful array of merchandise.
田中さんは、入口の近くでスマートフォンを手にしている店員を見つけ、少し緊張しながら近づいた。
Mr. Tanaka spotted a clerk near the entrance with a smartphone in his hand and approached, a little nervous.
「すみません。」
Excuse me."
田中さんは声をかけた。
Mr. Tanaka called out.
店員は笑顔で振り向いた。
The clerk turned around with a smile.
「いらっしゃいませ！
Welcome!
何をお探しですか？」
What can I help you with?
「テレビを見たいんですが、どれがいいかわかりません。」
I'd like to watch TV, but I don't know which one would be best."
店員は少し考えた後、大きなモニターが並ぶ棚の方を指さした。
The clerk thought for a moment, then pointed toward a shelf lined with large monitors.
「こちらはいかがですか？
How about this one?
新しいモデルです。」
It's a new model.
田中さんはその棚の方に歩いていき、ひとつのテレビの前で立ち止まった。
Mr. Tanaka walked toward the shelf and stopped in front of one of the TVs.
画面には鮮やかな自然の映像が映っている。
On the screen was a vivid image of nature.
「きれいですね。
It's beautiful," he said.
でも、これ、高いですか？」

「そうですね。」

店員は値札を指差しながら説明を始めた。
The clerk pointed to the price tag and began to explain.
「こちらは少し高めですが、今ならセール中で、二万円安くなっています。」

田中さんの目が大きく開いた。

店員は別のテレビを見せた。
The clerk showed him another TV.

田中さんはしばらく考えた後、笑顔で頷いた。
Mr. Tanaka thought for a while, then nodded with a smile.
「じゃあ、これにします。」
Then I'll go with this one."
店員はレジに向かいながら言った。
The clerk said as he headed for the cash register.
「ありがとうございます！

配送もできますよ。」

田中さんは少し驚いて、「本当ですか？
Mr. Tanaka was a little surprised and said, "Really?"
それは助かります！」
"That would be great," Mr. Tanaka replied.
と答えた。
With the joy of buying a new TV, Mr. Tanaka walked out of the store a little lighter on his feet.
新しいテレビを買った喜びで、田中さんは少し足取り軽く店を出ていった。
A cold winter wind was blowing outside the store, but his heart was warm.
